At Staycation Stories, we specialize in thoughtfully curated travel experiences and premium staycations, where each booking involves advance planning and confirmed arrangements with our trusted hotel and travel partners. To ensure a seamless experience for all our guests while maintaining service quality, we follow a structured cancellation and refund policy.
All bookings made with Staycation Stories are considered confirmed only after full or partial payment is received and are subject to availability. As these bookings involve pre-blocked inventory and vendor commitments, cancellations must be requested in writing via email or WhatsApp along with complete booking details. Cancellations made 15 days or more prior to the travel date are eligible for up to 75% refund, after applicable booking, processing, and vendor charges. Cancellations made between 7 to 14 days before travel are eligible for up to 40% refund. Cancellations made within 7 days of travel, including no-shows or last-minute changes, are strictly non-refundable.
Please note that certain components of your booking, including specific hotels, peak season reservations, promotional offers, and third-party services, may be completely non-refundable as per vendor policies. In such cases, the same will apply irrespective of the cancellation window. Staycation Stories shall not be held liable for any disruptions caused by unforeseen circumstances such as weather conditions, natural calamities, government regulations, transport delays, or vendor-related issues; hence, no refunds will be applicable under such conditions.
We understand that plans can change, and as a gesture of flexibility, one-time rescheduling may be offered if requested at least 7 days prior to the travel date, subject to availability and revised pricing. Any difference in cost due to change of dates, season, or property will be borne by the customer.
All approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 working days to the original mode of payment. By confirming a booking with Staycation Stories, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined above.
